A SERIOUSLY good experience at every level. Great friendly staff, good service and even better meals. Well worth a trip to experience a nice relaxing time.
Absolutely perfectly done steak. Meals prepared quickly and very reasonably priced. Tidy, renovated decor that oozes class with friendly and approachable staff. Only quibble is drink prices are steep for a small town but I understand the logic in their case.Will absolutely return.
Lovely clean friendly pub. The food is spot on, no it's not gourmet restaurant level. It's probably the best value you will find anywhere, perfectly cooked, hot delicious food. Steak cooked perfectly, great sauces, thumbs Up to the chef and staff here. The area is stunning too, great free camping, shops and atmosphere
The staff where friendly and nice. The room came with plenty of towels, bedding, supplies & was fairly clean. The bedding & towels where nice & fresh. However the room had poor lighting & the bathroom door didn't lock & there was a few large holes in the shower ceiling... At $95 per night for 2 people, I would have expected there not to be holes in the ceiling & the room be a bit cleaner. The main pub area is next door & nicely done.
Called in for dinner tonight and the meals were basic but nicely cooked. The steak was half the size of my plate but as it was a thinner cut it couldn't be cooked as blue as I would have liked. Still enjoyed it very much though and the garlic sauce was delicious. The only downside was there was no dessert offered as apparently very few people ask for it so we went across the road and finished our evening over there.
